Omaha officer discovers comfort in huge prairie garden

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — When Kim Pecha can’t straight away find her spouse, she understands in which to check.

Michael Pecha is likely to be outside in the prairie yard, bent up to learn a butterfly or caterpillar.

“Behind 3- or 4-foot flowers that are tall she’ll see my mind pop-up,” Pecha told the Omaha World-Herald.

Pecha has a good amount of tall plants to full cover up behind. This spring he expanded his two garden beds to cover 3,000 square feet of his front yard after lots of thought.
